Reminder: Please complete your Water Line Service Survey by Dec 31

Dear Burton Water Cooperative Customer,

This is a friendly reminder to complete the Customer Water Line Service Survey before the end of this month.

As required by the WDOH and EPA, we must inventory the pipe materials in our system. Identifying your service line material helps us avoid the high costs of manual site inspections.

How to participate:

  1. Locate your line: Find where the water pipe enters your home (usually through the floor or foundation).

  2. Identify the material: Use a magnet or a coin to scratch the pipe to see if it is plastic, copper, galvanized steel, or lead. Please see prior email for more information.

  3. Submit your findings: Click the link below to fill out the brief form.
